Docuvia Privacy Policy

Docuvia is a document scanning and PDF utility developed by Nordbridge Studio.

We designed Docuvia with privacy in mind. The app processes documents locally on your device and does not require an account.

Information We Collect

Docuvia does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your scanned documents, OCR text, document titles, folders, imported files, or other document content with Nordbridge Studio or third parties.

Docuvia does not require user registration and does not collect account information.

Document Processing

Document scanning, image processing, OCR, cropping, filtering, PDF generation, and document organization are performed locally on your device using Apple system frameworks and Docuvia's on-device processing features.

Your documents remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them using iOS sharing features.

Camera and Photo Access

Docuvia may request access to your device camera in order to scan documents and cards.

When you choose to import images, Docuvia uses Apple's system photo picker. The app only receives the images that you explicitly select.

Docuvia does not upload camera images or imported photos to external servers.

Files and PDFs

When you import PDF files or export documents, Docuvia uses Apple system file access and sharing interfaces.

Files are processed locally on your device.

OCR

Docuvia may use Apple's on-device text recognition technologies to recognize text in scanned documents.

Recognized text is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to Nordbridge Studio.

Biometric Authentication

If you enable App Lock, Docuvia may use Apple's Face ID or Touch ID authentication system.

Docuvia does not receive or store your biometric data. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS.

Analytics and Advertising

Docuvia currently does not include third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.

We do not use your document content for advertising or profiling.

Data Sharing

Nordbridge Studio does not sell, rent, or share your document data or OCR content with third parties.

Information is only shared when you explicitly choose to export or share a file using iOS features.

Data Storage and Deletion

Documents created or imported into Docuvia are stored locally on your device.

You can delete individual pages, documents, or folders directly within the app.

Deleting the app may also remove locally stored Docuvia data, subject to normal iOS behavior and any backups managed by your device or Apple account.

Children's Privacy

Docuvia is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Docuvia evolves. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
